How currency conversion works
MEF publishes currency quotes against Cambodian riel. Some quotes cover 100 or 1,000 units; we divide the average quote by its unit count before calculating. For two foreign currencies, we convert through their shared KHR base.
Converted amount = amount × source rate per unit ÷ destination rate per unit.
The server checks for new rates hourly and can show saved rates for up to three days during an outage. Published dates may precede today, including on weekends and holidays. Your conversion amount stays in your browser.
