The everyday toolkit
Help with Tools & Downloads
Troubleshoot QR scans, image downloads, calculator inputs and currency-rate availability.
Getting started
Open a tool from the Tools directory. Public utilities work without signing in, but their controls need JavaScript. Use an up-to-date browser and check that content blockers are not disabling the tool. Account-based business features require sign-in and the access shown on their page.
Image files will not open
Use a supported JPEG, PNG or WebP file and check the size limits shown by the tool. Renaming a file extension does not convert its format. If a large batch fails, try one smaller image; browser memory can run out even when a batch meets the file-size limit.
Downloads are missing
Process the file first, then select its download link. Check your browser’s downloads list and any blocked-download notice. On a phone, check the Files or Downloads app. Open and inspect the result before sharing it; changing the extension of a download does not change its format.
A QR code will not scan
Test the original download and the final printed sample. Use a dark pattern on a light background, keep the blank border and avoid stretching. Try a simpler style or remove the logo. Confirm that the destination opens without a login on another phone.
A calculator shows an error or unexpected result
Check units and the calculation mode. Enter a percentage as 10 for 10%, and a loan term in whole months. A share or percentage change cannot use zero as its base. Review the formula, assumptions and rounding explanation on the tool page before comparing with another result.
Currency rates are old or unavailable
Read the published date and status in the converter. MEF dates can precede today and source outages can require saved rates. The public converter uses reference averages, not a bank’s buy/sell promise. If no usable rates are available, try again later.
Account or business questions
Use the sign-in and password-reset pages for access. Never share a password or one-time code with support. For a payment or business-record issue, contact us with the account email and reference number, without sending private customer data.
