1. About this policy
BZ WorkOps (“BZ WorkOps”, “we”, “our”) operates https://bzworkops.com from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our business operations and daily utility platform and related tool subdomains.
Client-side image processing, calculators and ordinary QR generation run locally in your browser. We do not store the files or personal content processed by those tools on our servers. Features that save information to your account are described below.
2. Information we handle
- Account information: your name, email address, verification status and, when you register with email, a hashed password. We use these to provide sign-in, email verification and password recovery.
- Google account information: your Google account identifier, name and email address when you choose Google sign-in. We associate the identifier with your BZ WorkOps account.
- Business exchange information: business name, base currency, plan access dates, daily buy/sell rates, exchange amounts, optional customer references and notes, and void reasons. These are stored on our server under your account to provide records, reports and exports.
- Personal and company workspaces: workspace names, member roles and invitations, departments, income and expense records, categories, budgets, recurring expenses, uploaded receipts and approval or reimbursement records. Personal records are available to their owner; company records are available to authorized members according to their roles.
- Plans and payment receipts: selected tool and plan, price and currency, access period, payment request and bank references, receipt files, optional notes, approval decisions and access dates. We store receipts privately and make them available to you and authorized billing reviewers. Receipts are used to review payments, not to automatically confirm bank transfers.
- Technical information: request times, IP addresses, browser details and error information may appear in hosting and security logs. These help us operate the website, diagnose failures and limit abuse.
- Support messages: information you choose to send when asking for help or exercising a privacy right.
Tool searches on the landing page are processed in your browser. Preview-only AI features do not send your tool content to an AI service. Saved app links and workspace features require an account and store the records you submit.
3. QR content and logos
QR studio creates previews and PNG/SVG downloads in your browser. For ordinary QR codes, the content you type—including website links, contact details or Wi-Fi passwords—and the logo you select are not uploaded to our server for that generation. App links are different: we save their code name, app name and store and fallback URLs under your account to route future scans. We do not save QR artwork or logos.
A separate server QR generation endpoint also exists. If you send a request directly to that endpoint, the server processes the submitted content and any temporary logo upload to return the image. The endpoint does not create saved QR records. Hosting infrastructure may keep request metadata in logs.
A QR code contains the information you put into it. Anyone who can access or scan your downloaded code may read that information. Keep downloaded files secure and avoid placing confidential information in publicly shared codes.
4. Google sign-in
Google sign-in requests basic identity permissions: your account identity, email address and profile. We use the returned information to create, authenticate or explicitly link your BZ WorkOps account. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Calendar or your contacts.
Google access tokens are used during the sign-in request and are not stored in your account. We do not sell Google account information or use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
You can remove BZ WorkOps access through your Google account connections. Removing Google access does not automatically delete your BZ WorkOps account; contact us if you also want that account deleted.
7. Retention and security
We retain account information while it is needed to provide your account and support the service. Security logs, support correspondence and backups may be retained for operational, security or legal needs. Browser-generated QR content is not retained by the tool on our servers, except for app link destinations you save to your account. Business exchange records remain stored when a plan expires so you can read and export them. Voiding an exchange retains its record and reason rather than deleting it. Payment requests, receipts and approval history may be retained to provide access, resolve payment disputes and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact us for account, workspace or receipt deletion requests.
We use safeguards such as encrypted HTTPS connections, password hashing and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send your password, verification link or Google credentials in a support request.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can use the free QR generator and public MEF currency converter without registering. The MEF converter calculates amounts in your browser; business exchange records are saved on the server only when you submit them in the signed-in workspace. Google sign-in is optional; email registration is also available. You can manage cookies in your browser and revoke Google access in your Google account settings.
Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request or close your account. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. Information required for security or legal obligations may need to be retained.
The service is intended for general productivity use and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without appropriate permission, contact us.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice where applicable law requires it.
